New Year, New Lamvin

2022 ushered in some change. Not only did we welcome some new team members, but we also added some products to our offerings and rounded out a new section of our website that will be the go-to place for case study and blog content for 2023.

As we look ahead and poise ourselves to ring in the new year, we thought we’d take a moment to look back and report on some highlights.

Meet Mark

If you joined any of this year’s webinars, you likely noticed a new, and now familiar, face. Mark Rich joined us early this year as the new Vice President of Sales. In this role, he leverages his more than two decades of sales and marketing experience, helping to recruit new manufacturer representatives, and managing channel partners while maintaining and growing sales of existing accounts and projects.

If you’re interested in joining our team or highlighting a project in a case study, Mark is your go-to. He'd be happy to hear from you. Drop him a line.

East Coast Representation

We also had some new groups join our team.

QuietStar out of Boston will be helping to bring our products from the West Coast to the East. We also had Cullum-USA come on board helping to bring Lamvin in and around Virginia. If you’re looking for the group in your area, you can find your rep here, or reach out and we can get you in touch with someone to help you get started on your project.

Making Our Mark

acoustic felt product

This spring, we announced the launch of a new, sustainable panel product: Hushwood™. Hushwood features a facing of wood-veneered slats evenly spaced to expose a black PET felt backing. The innovative design creates striking linear patterns on walls or ceilings while also allowing for simple and intuitive installation. Like products in the Sonic Timber™ line, Hushwood is an eco-friendly alternative to wood building materials.

Programmed for Success

This year, we rolled out a new program. Oceanside is a set of Earth-conscious fabric-wrapped panels. Each 16-panel kit ships with all necessary hardware and can cover 32 square feet of wall space for a sizeable spatial, acoustical and environmental impact. By following any of the three provided design layouts, even a novice DIY-er can install these panels for a high-end statement wall look within minutes.

Things are Looking Up

We happily rolled out a case study featuring an artful ceiling installation at Francis Parker School later in the year. The cloud installation project involved a team of art students and brings to life the institutional mission while providing visitors to campus a glimpse of the community's creative spirit and camaraderie. Read all about it in our case study.

We fully intend to ride the wave and carry more positivity and new and exciting things into 2023. We hope you’ll join us on our journey.
